In February this year, Avon announced a new improved version of its instant brochure, This provides a new exciting way to better connect with our Avon customers to shop their favourite beauty products.
So six weeks down the line, how does the Avon instant brochure compare to the Avon brochure.
The short answer despite its many advantages the Avon instant brochure doesn't!
Despite running an advertising campaign via email and printed literature to our Chard and Ilminster Avon customers, We have not managed to convert one customer across to this digital format.
The same emails to non-local customers have also generated very little interest. However, we have had one sale from email with positive feedback on how easy the instant brochure is to use.
Facebook has yielded zero clicks.
Our best method so far is using blog posts optimised for the SEO keyword of "instant brochure" which does get about 1 to 2 clicks per day to the Avon instant brochure, But so far zero sales.
People seem to love the catalogue, with a cuppa and probably the catalogues biggest advantage the scratch and sniff!
BUT on saying all of this, The Avon instant brochure does have significant advantages.

To sum up, it is the early days of this digital breakthrough, and to early to get disheartened about the lack of sales.
The Avon instant brochure is the future of Avon, The catalogues have been around in the UK for 60 years so it will take time to convert both existing and new customers over. Watch this space!
