Abbie

I have been dating a lovely man for a couple of months.

He brought me some Ballerina stockings from your site and continually asked me to put them on.

I am uncomfortable with this idea and think it's a bit sexist, to be honest.

I am pushing 50, and for someone who has never worn stockings, I am too old to wear them now. Do I have a point?

Answer

As I say to all females, it is your right to wear whatever clothing and lingerie you choose. Though on saying that, it does not mean your new partner has to like this.

Now you are in a new relationship? Why not take this as an opportunity to cast a fresh eye on your lingerie drawer?

You do not have to give up your preferential lingerie, but why not adapt it for special occasions? This statement is true for any age!

Back to my original point! It is unacceptable for him to pressure you to wear stockings, But I ask you to consider giving them a try. After all, he did spend money on them as a present.

Do not worry if you think this is seedy. A majority of men love women wearing stockings. Bear in mind this is mild compared to some fantasies I have come across.

If you are worried about wearing a suspender belt, you could always opt for a pair of Ballerina Holdups, Which I am sure he would be satisfied with if you slipped them on.

Ballerina Hosiery Hold ups

In any relationship, there should be a willingness to share in each other's desires and tastes. I do not mean a total surrender if you do something that pleases your man now and again.

Why not see things from his eyes? it is just common courtesy.
